summary:

purpose:study and analyze the influence of the length of the vein pressure belt on the results of platelet test.

method:Sixty healthy volunteers who received blood routine examination in the Department of Clinical Laboratory of Huayuan County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2018 to August 2018 were selected as research pairs and randomly divided into group A and group B. When the venous blood of the two groups of volunteers was drawn, the tourniquet was relaxed for the volunteers in group A immediately after the bleeding, while the volunteers in group B tightened the tourniquet throughout the blood collection process. Then, the two groups of volunteers were tested for blood routine, and the test results were analyzed.

results:

A group were compared, P <0.05; and the red blood cell count, hematocrit, hemoglobin level, mean volume of red blood cells, red blood cell volume distribution width and platelet count were compared, P>0.05. In group B, the average volume of red blood cells and the distribution width of red blood cells in the first tube blood sample and the seventh tube blood sample were compared, P>0.05; the other indicators were significantly different, P <0.05.

Conclusion: In the process of blood collection for patients undergoing blood routine examination or healthy physical examination, long-term compression of the vein with the tourniquet will seriously affect the detection results of platelet and other indicators.
