Israeli Bandages

bandages are used for hemostatic dressing of various parts of the body. The bandage widely used by active U.S. forces is called the Israeli bandage, which is named after the design of the Israel Defense Forces. Compared with traditional bandages, this Israeli bandage is characterized by:(1) it is an elastic bandage instead of an inelastic bandage, so that the compression hemostasis effect on wounds is more obvious;(2) The inside of the bandage is attached with a sterile dressing belt, and the outside is provided with a crescent-shaped plastic buckle for fixation, which is easy to operate and can be fixed and bandaged with one hand. The user only needs to tear open the sterile package to take out and unfold the bandage roll, align the white sterile dressing tape to cover the wound part, and fix the bandage through the fixing buckle.

Israeli bandage is the US military IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) One of the necessary first aid supplies in the individual first aid kit. Due to different bandage manufacturers and production batches, their packaging, color and other details will vary, but the basic structure and use methods are the same.
